This is a fee-for-service program that provides direct nursing supports for person's living in group homes. We support individuals living with transfer payment agencies as well as outside paid resource agencies.
Agencies who wish to secure the services of the Direct Support nurse can sign a contract with the Ottawa Rotary Home for a certain number of nursing support hours per week. We understand that you might not need to use all of your hours each week and we do allow you to roll over hours.

Our Direct Support Nurses work from Monday - Friday 8am-4pm, except holidays. Due to the fluid nature of support needs, we ask that you request support using our "Request Visit/Support" form so we can book services accordingly. We will try to accommodate same day requests as much as we can but if our nurses are already booked, we will inform you of the next available time slot.
